Acclaimed Jazz Pianist of Hungarian decent, Robi Botos celebrates the release of his debut trio album Place to Place on A440 Entertainment/Universal Music Canada.

Having been mentored by the great Oscar Peterson, Robi has quickly joined the ranks of Canada’s elite jazz musicians while receiving numerous awards and accolades throughout his career including a 2007 National Jazz Award for Keyboardist of the Year, 2007 NOW Award for Best Jazz Artist and First Place Standing at the 2008 Great American Jazz Piano Competition and 2008 Montreux Jazz Festival Solo Piano Competition.

Place to Place is the most anticipated instrumental jazz release from a Canadian artist in recent time. The album showcases the Robi Botos Trio playing original modern jazz such as Emmanuel - composed as a gift to the family of Dr. Oscar “Emmanuel” Peterson among other highlights such as the title track and Be Bach - a 21st Century take on 18th Century Baroque music.
